Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum
Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application that allows you to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, as well as how much water your mop consumes.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are vital in my house that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, a variety of small objects.
The
robot vacuum
has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tried.
It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra
robot vacuum that vacuums and mops
vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be emptied as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the
best robotic mop and vacuum
mop and robotic vacuum you can buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself, making it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage bin. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The
auto vacuum and mop
's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo did well in our tests, like all the Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their
robot vacuums with mop
. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
