The Pre-licensing course can be taken in the classroom or through online learning or virtual classroom. If you choose the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. Regardless of which version you decide to study, all courses use the same curriculum content. The provider will automatically record your completion to the DMV once you've successfully completed your course. You won't be required to show a certificate to be able to sit for your driver's test.
