It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as good. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into narrow corners or on baseboards. The front arms can be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot cleaner with mop mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's easy to install and is effective however this is something that you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it has distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock that doubles as a charging base and housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning as well as the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base also has a number of control buttons that let you manually start cleaning or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on the child lock that is a great touch for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you manually free it. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't an issue except for the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
