The Pre-licensing Course may be completed in the classroom or by virtual classroom or distance learning. If you opt for the classroom version, then you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same curriculum, no matter which version you choose. The provider will report your completion to the DMV after you have successfully completed your course. You won't be required to present a proof of completion to appear for the driver's test.
