The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an app that can save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water the mop is using.
A mapping feature aids your

navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, must be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the
best automatic vacuum and mop
robot vacuum and mop you can buy but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the
robot vacuum cleaner uk
vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own cleaning products.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the
best robot hoover
's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
This device has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
