WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the Item Level upgrade by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for the latter because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item however, they are always less expensive than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item upgrading will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which will show an item's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the item upgrader mod slot, and the current level of the item. For instance weapons cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item upgrade is upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Item upgraders can be found in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon as well as the chance to obtain a new recipe.
