The
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.
This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.
For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could wish for. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.
Additionally,

the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality
yeedi robot vacuum
vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you don't often see on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.
It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
