The Best
Robot Vacuum
and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior
Commercial Robot vacuum
filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads scrub floors better than a vibrating pad.
The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.
In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.
The X2 Omni is the

robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.
Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the
Commercial robot vacuum
to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
