The smart-pathing system of the app allows for greater maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is effective however it can be caught on the tassels of the rug.

In our tests in our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors with no flooring and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded in the fibers.
