The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of the button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot vacuum mop combo can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors in the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch.
