Repair Patches

If you've got a hole or two in your gears, consider adding some adhesive patches to your rep kit. These patches made of heavy-duty materials have high-performance glue pre-applied on a durable polyurethane back that allows a tear under pressure to heal. The patches are available in colors or clear versions and are durable against punctures as well as sunlight, moisture as well as extreme temperatures and saltwater.

If your kit doesn't contain any of the above items, consider adding a bag of water-proof Aquaseal wader repair sealant. The water-tight adhesive bonds to fabrics and metals to create an indestructible fix. It's ideal for repairs to drysuits and may be applied in the field. Allow the sealant to set for at least 12 hours prior to using your repaired gear.
