Diana Bakalem obtained her Texas Real Estate License in 2001. In her second year as Realtor, she received the Leadership Award for two consecutive years. In her fourth year, she received the coveted Top Producer Award in the Harlingen and Brownsville area, and received the President’s Circle award for having the most transactions in one year, 67, which had not been accomplished by anyone in the region in 17 years, earning her the Top 3% National Award.

Later in 2005, Mrs. Bakalem began her own real estate company, Nexus Real Estate, as a Broker. Since 2007, Mrs. Bakalem and the professional team have become the number one company in Brownsville, TX and the surrounding area. In 2010, she received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Women’s Council of Realtors.
