A 3-wheel buggy is great for off-road walking & dealing with terrain from bumpy pavements to woodland tracks. They can also be easier to maneuver up and down kerbs than models with four wheels.

Stability

With four wheels and a centre of gravity that's balanced by weight of your child in the seat, 4-wheel buggies are generally thought to be more stable than 3-wheelers. Three-wheel buggies are worth considering as they can handle everything from rough terrain to busy streets.

For a buggy that's really easy to control and will not fall over on muddy roads, opt for one with large rear wheels and an adjustable front wheel that locks. Manoeuvrability
