Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item level upgrade and any money wasted will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an Best item upgrade (Suggested Looking at) of equipment such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item upgrader kit, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They are also available to players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added, as well as an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
