WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrades level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The cost of upgrades will be based on the current item upgrader kit level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Upgrades are functional items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and accessories. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. The discount for the entire account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
