The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib designed with a secure night's rest in mind. It features an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child at night without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is great for breastfeeding mothers! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

We love the fact that it's made of soft materials that have mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It is available in oak or charcoal with a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with a variety of styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer service number should you experience any issues.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed that include the ability to attach to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to ease reflux or congestion in infants. It is also machine-washable and is a must for all the dribbles and vomit that accompany a new baby!

The CoZee is a fantastic option to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension kit, it can be converted into a bed. While it won't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options, however it is packed with lots of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and legs that retract to fit underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised at the touch of one button. This was a huge benefit in feedings at night as it meant that they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them.

The side panel can be lowered by itself, too, but it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature is great for peace of mind if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feeds.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers, thanks to the legs that telescopic. It has a tilting feature to help reflux babies, and a rocking function to help soothe them to sleep after a feeding. It's also incredibly spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does have quite an extensive instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It's small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a plus in the event that you have to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, making it difficult to observe your child from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib and cot crib is an excellent choice if you want a crib that grows with your child. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed and convert into a chic cot when your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding at night and fostering a bond with your newborn.

In contrast to other cribs for bed like the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh side panels and the airflow mattress, which is hypoallergenic and breathable maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline can help to ease colic and reflux while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby during the night.

The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to begin. It took us around an hour to assemble, and was reasonably straightforward. The only drawback was the lack of captions in writing on a few images, which made it difficult to follow certain steps. However, it was a straightforward process and the quality of the materials used was excellent.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot, or getting out of it.
