The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, Best Buy without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
