The wand that froths is difficult to clean. This is a typical complaint from Nespresso users. Fortunately the Lattissima Pro and Gran Lattissima have a self-cleaning cycle that cleans the milky innards after each use of the frother.

The Vertuo Line

A Nespresso Vertuo machine makes a small cup of coffee that is ideal for those who love espresso and prefer a short and intense drink. Each capsule is equipped with an engraved barcode on its outer rim that is read by the machine's computer to determine the size of drink it will create. Nespresso's Vertuo pods are extracted with an exclusive technology.

Vertuo Line has a variety of drinks including Ristretto, Espresso, Nespresso Vertuo machine Lungo (mini espresso), Americano, and Cappuccino. The machines can be combined with the Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother to create frothy cappuccinos and lattes.

Each Vertuo Line machine heats up quickly and can be brewed within 30 minutes. They have a smaller reservoir for water than the Original Line and require less maintenance. There are several models to choose from, meaning you'll be able to find one that matches your style and budget.
