The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off.
