The
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.
This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the

, robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.
Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and

pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
