This tequila-based tipple with thirst-quenching citrus and a kick of chilli will have dad breaking out the dance moves.

    Sacred English Amber Vermouth (21.8%), £21.30, amathusdrinks.com.  Suave: with orange peel and floral nuances, this stars in the vesper martini at Dukes Bar in London's Mayfair. The bar was frequented by Ian Fleming, and the vesper featured in his Bond novel Casino Royale.   Domaine Pardon Cuvée Tim Régnié 2023 (13.5%), £14.99, Waitrose.  Classic: unlike simple, fruity Beaujolais nouveau, this style, from the region's Régnié cru, is more akin to a red Burgundy, with notes of violet and wild berries, plus gently gripping tannins.
