Slot missions are a great way to earn gear, weapons and other items. However, they can be difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon Slot machine bonuses lets you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players use it to help them achieve certain achievements, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to close a gap. It's important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it simpler to use. This combo also gives you a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is placed in.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot a good feature for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could use a better option. It's currently designed as pistols, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, ranging from small concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are covertly stashed in hidden locations around the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players gain access to different starting points equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to prepare the perfect task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice their gear slots quickly get full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear themed slots are Full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenges. Since many of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take a while to reach the most inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your concealed weapon or gear slots and retrieve them later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you need to go through a frisk in the course of the course of your mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at an agency pickup location.
