Then, measure the length of the spindle that protrudes from the underside of the handle and then order a replacement online or bring the old one to an hardware store to get a matching. Then, pull out the setscrew on the operator shaft and smooth it out so that the set screw is able to lock onto the shaft (photo). Now your uPVC window repair should shut smoothly.

Broken Hinges
