Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit has designed a unique keycase to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the brand. Made of Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it comes with a flying 'B' paperweight, a set keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

As a design-oriented company Bentley takes its aesthetics extremely seriously. It is evident in the precise placement of its quilting, the use of leather from products of cattle as well as the sustainable management of forests, and the unique patterns of its levers. Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019, 100 years after the marque was established. Design

It also has Secure-A-Key which prevents keyless entry theft. The device is inserted into the remote control fob, and it shuts it down when the key has not been used for a few minutes. It blocks thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to unlock and start the vehicle.

During the event, Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities with a special example that was the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars include bently keys that display an item from the 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
