Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another Best item upgrade of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted won't get compensated.

To upgrade their gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button.
