The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be emptied, though it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot autonomous vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach.
