Although you can change the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.

3. Dreame X40
