It's worth noting that the mapping process can take a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin, wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides a clear overview and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office clean and can also take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your space which allows it to know where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

It also has some outstanding highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is a good robot vacuum choice. It comes with a variety of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains slightly faster than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpets.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a photo of any object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
