Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had great navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop (
yogicentral.science says
) and vacuum. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line model is fast and nimble, picking up debris like hair from pets and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will clean its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
It comes with a range of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's one of many combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are priced lower than competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.
It's important to note that the mapping process takes a while and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and required a flip to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who want an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-
autonomous vacuum
is a game-changer that allows you to get into places that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This keeps the system clean, and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot
autonomous vacuum
and mop that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without crashing. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also quite high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin as well as wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. You can control all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8, this robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your space and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.
It also has some outstanding standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and

don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to take care of knotted rug tassels and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did well. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in tiny spaces. It is very quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a picture of every object it finds (i.e., chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't picked up during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
