Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum
Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an app that can save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water the mop is using.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate around rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are essential in my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've test to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an
automatic vacuum cleaner
mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the price we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I test, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the
best robot vacuum that mops
robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy but its high cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with an
automatic vacuum cleaner
mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the
robot vacuum cleaner
and is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
