iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

Unlike some robot vacuums, this one isn't afraid of taking on the stairs. But, just like any other mop or vacuum it is prone to getting blocked by loose tennis shoes, ribbons or play jewelry, yarn, or other objects that are loose.

The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms and also create zones of no-go areas. It also lets you track your mops's progress and the status of its battery.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo j7+ joins the mop and robot vacuum lineup that combines the robot cleaner's smart mapping capabilities with its ability to handle spills. It has the same acoustic sensors onboard and iAdapt 2.0 navigation that is used by other Roomba options and maps your home 7x faster than previous models. It also lets you set Keep Out Zones and Clean Zones to tell the robot which areas it should stay clear of and when to clean them.

The most notable feature of the j7 is its robotic arm which keeps the mop pad locked away when it's not in use and lowers it to deal with carpets or hard floors. The idea is to avoid spraying water onto the rug and the Combo J7+ has done well at this during my tests. The shark iq robot vacuum did not try to walk across the rug, even though I moved it around several times.

The arm comes with a 240mL tank which can be easily pulled out and filled, so it's more manageable than mop pads found in other 2-in-1 robots. It also makes use of the iRobot's PrevisionVision obstacle avoidance technology which is more advanced than other models of this kind.

iRobot Combo i5

This multitasker can mop and vacuum with one machine. iRobot is able to detect household clutter, such as shoes, bags cords, toys, and even cords. It will then automatically stop and return to the docking station, allowing it to recharge and finish the cleaning task later. It is compatible with voice commands like Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri, and understands approximately 600 voice commands. This is more than any other 2-in-1 robot.

iRobot Combo j5

The robot mop and vacuum from iRobot will work well in homes with hard or carpeted floors. It uses smart mapping and avoids obstacles to ensure that it cleans efficiently. It also comes with different mopping options, including the powerful SmartScrub system that helps clean tough stains. It is also able to set No Mop Zones so that carpets aren't sucked up. The dock refills the mopping fluid in a timely manner. The price is higher than the previous Roomba Combo j7+, however, it comes with more features.

Its patented Mopping Drive System applies a pressure to the floor, allowing more thorough cleaning. It also gets rid of tough staining. It also works under furniture and in tight spaces for an even more thorough cleaning. The Combo j5+ is also compatible with the iRobot Clean Base for automatic dirt removal.

It can even create a map of your entire house, meaning you can clean up any area you like after just one trip. It will also stay clear of objects like backpacks, cords, or toys. It will also stay clear of socks, shoes and kitty litter boxes. You can plan cleaning schedules in your home and remotely control your robot via the iRobot App.

iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 has been upgraded from the original Roomba i3. It still has a HEPA-filter to remove allergens, and the same great external dust compartment, but it now supports smart mapping. You can now designate no-go zones to stop the vacuum from vacuuming these areas repeatedly. The i3 Plus has a lot of other amazing features, including its advanced cleaning system and a power-lifting 10x vacuum. It also has a three-stage cleaning process. It also features a textured exterior to protect against fingerprints, dust and hairs of pets.

It is able to perform well on unfinished floors and is able to clean the majority of debris, but it struggled with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It is a great choice on carpets with a lot of pile and is much quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a little more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying station which emptys the dirtbag, refills its water reservoir, and cleans its mop pads.

You can create cleaning schedules using the i3 App. You can also control your robot using your voice assistant to begin or stop cleaning. It can also track your home's unique layout and provide personalized cleaning habits and scheduling. iRobot Combo i2

The Combo i2 robot vacuum and mop is the newest product from iRobot. The i4 is also missing some features, such as keep-out zones, as well as the AI-powered obstacle avoidance that is found on the j7 and j7+ models.

It does have a powerful vacuum system and brushes made of rubber that don't get tangled with pet hair.
