The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for an affordable
robot vacuum and mop
. It's a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.
This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.
For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving along.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the

pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.
Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set path.
The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested,
robot vacuum and mop
thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
