The
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop
Combo
The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are

to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.
What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and

dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.
The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
