Concealed Weapon slot sites

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to bring guns into the course of. Some players make use of it to attain certain goals, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It's important to remember that in order to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider in use makes it much simpler. This combo also gives you a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is placed in.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined opportunity. It's currently shaped like pistols, that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slots are used to store a variety of items - from concussion devices to explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items are secretly stored in a hidden location on the map, and can be recovered at any moment. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in missions that are episodic. It allows players to discover different starting points, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. These options for planning expand as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the best task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, which will result in the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max to select new equipment until the old ones are removed or more space has been obtained. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. Since many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it might take a while to get the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.

A player's five Gear high roller slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same kind) only has one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.

These pick-ups can be useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could cause suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and spot a group when you arrive.
