Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great way to earn gear weapons, gear and other items. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to carry pistols into an operation. Some people use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who want to achieve Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to fill in gaps. If you are using this slot, you need to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, such as the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, to select them. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo will add a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon as long as it is positioned.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot a great feature that lets players bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as an a gun, which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle top slots are used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices to explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items are covertly stashed in hidden locations around the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option available in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots before they enter the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This allows players to design the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will notice their gear slots rapidly get full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are cleared or a larger space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They provide more inventory space to complete challenges. However, since many of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed, it can take a long time to acquire the maximum number of inventory slots that are available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit in your concealed weapon or gear slots and retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful in situations where your job requires you to pass through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that might otherwise raise suspicion. You can only conceal one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker be sure to identify a group at the time you arrive.
